Committee Opportunities
The Ryerson Liberal Arts Society (RLAS) is recruiting committee members for the 2020-2021 year! RLAS serves over 4,600 Faculty of Arts students to establish a community within the Faculty of Arts and develop new opportunities for the improvement of student life.
RLAS committee members earn various valuable professional skills that will assist in the enhancement of your undergraduate experience.

The Community Relations Committee works to secure mutually beneficial partnerships to support the organizations’ initiatives while also meeting with and assisting RLAS affiliated course unions/student groups and projects in their community relations efforts (such as SPROUT).
The Corporate Relations Committee works to secure mutually beneficial partnerships to support the organizations’ initiatives while also meeting with and assisting RLAS affiliated student groups and projects in their corporate relations efforts.
The Events Committee is responsible for the creation of RLAS events throughout the entirety of the academic year and providing continual guidance and support to student groups and members in the creation of their events.
The Finance Committee oversees the day-to-day financial operations of the RLAS to maintain financial matters of the organization. The committee aids in facilitating consultation and funding services, ensuring accurate financial information when portraying the transparency of financial data.
The Marketing Committee oversees and executes the day-to-day marketing and communications of the RLAS. They ensure consistency within the brand image of the RLAS throughout all platforms and work to ensure that all RLAS communications are published before the membership in a timely and efficient manner.
The Operations Committee is responsible for undertaking various projects under the Vice-President, Operations including but not limited to the SAGM/AGM planning and others. They ensure that the organization is transparent and focuses on initiating efforts that are an extension of the three pillars.
The Presidents Committee is responsible for undertaking various projects under the President including but not limited to the Special Projects planning and others.
