The Ryerson Liberal Arts Society (RLAS) has the honor of hosting the Chancellor of Ryerson University, Janice Fukakusa, for the bi-annual event, Sip n’ Success.
Chancellor Fukakusa is one of many influential women in Toronto. She spent time as RBC’s Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and was a member of RBC’s Group Executive. Presently, Fukakusa serves as Chair of the new Crown Corporation, Canada Infrastructure Bank, and as Chair of the Board of Governors of Ryerson University. She is serving as a board member on boards of Cineplex, General Growth Properties, The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and Wellspring Cancer Foundation. Her accomplishments include being initiated into Canada’s Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame, one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking by American Banker magazine for the fourth consecutive year, and Canada’s CFO of the Year by Financial Executives Canada, PwC and Robert Half.
Sip n’ Success is an event series hosted by the RLAS. Each event hosts a brilliant guest who has fully utilized their Arts Degree or Arts related experience in various paths. The goal of a Sip n’ Success event is to inspire Arts students to use their full potential going forward in their professional careers. The Sip n’ Success events allow for friendly conversation in an intimate setting.
This event is business casual. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Josel Angelica Gerardo at firstname.lastname@example.org.
