Easy Recipes During Quarantine

Picture this: The first week of March, you are on a roll with your fitness regimen. You go to the gym 3-5 times a week and eating healthy meals. You’ve got it all under control, life is great. Two weeks later…And BAM! The city announces quarantine. Sounds familiar?

When in quarantine, it can become difficult to stick to healthy habits! During these times, many of us may have started developing some unhealthy eating habits. It’s easy to grab a bag of chips, a highly caffeinated drink, or sugary treats! However, it’s important to take care of our bodies and feed ourselves with the proper nutrients that we need on a daily basis!

Need some inspiration for some quick and easy recipes? We’ve got you covered.

Green juice:

  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 1 whole lemon (squeeze)
  • 3-4 cups of water
  • 1 whole banana
  • 1 green apple (you can substitute this with whatever apple you prefer)


Breakfast Bowl

  • 2 cups of kale or spinach
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • 1/4 cups of frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 cups of mango
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tbsp of Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tsp of match *optional


  • Once those ingredients have been blended, pour onto a bowl and add whatever topping you’d like!
  • Sliced bananas
  • Sliced almonds or walnuts


Tuna on Toast:

  • Wholewheat bread (toasted)
  • Half of an avocado (mashed)
  • Almond butter
  • Baby arugula or spinach
  • Tuna
  • Sprinkle some salt and pepper
  • Lime (squeezed)


Sweet Potato Salad

  • Spinach ⠀
  • Spring mix ⠀
  • Baby arugula ⠀
  • Assorted tomatoes ⠀
  • Sweet potato ⠀
  • 1 boiled egg ⠀ ⠀
  • Seasoning for the sweet potato fries:⠀
    • Sesame oil ⠀
    • Cayenne ⠀
    • Chilli Powder ⠀
    • Salt & Pepper ⠀
