Takoda KempDirector of Geographic Analysis

Takoda is a fourth year Geographic Analysis student with interests in farming and machine learning. After completing his undergraduate degree, he hopes to continue his studies in higher education, researching food sustainability and self-subsistence in peripheral communities. At Ryerson, Takoda has been deeply involved in student government, enjoying the connections he’s made with everyone as an international student from The Bahamas. Outside of the classroom, Takoda loves making music, coding, and tending to his houseplants. He hopes to bring what he’s learned home to help a younger generation of farmers bloom on the island nation.

To Takoda, honest communication, and fostering interconnectedness are fundamental.
